Mining History Korakukan Mine Office Kyodokan Nature Nanataki Lake Towada	Spring at Lake Towada Kosaka describes itself as "a town with a lake and a mine." Even though the mines are now closed, you can still experience the legacy of Kosaka's history as a mining town when you visit the Korakukan and Mine Office.
