KIS Acacia Festival Events - Touch Rugby Tournament

Results:Clean sweep forHinaidori Allstars!

Kazuno ALT Ben Spitz:
It was a lot of fun to play against the teams from Kosaka High School. I hope there will be more teams to play against next year!

Kosaka High School Rugby Team Captain Takeo Kawada:
Because we lost the tournament last year, we were aiming to win this year. Unfortunately, we lost to the foreigners' team. That was disappointing but the tournament was still fun.

At the tournament we were able to meet people from the town office and from other countries, so that was cool. But I would like to play rugby with even more people, share the fun of rugby with everyone and help rugby grow as a sport in Japan.

KIS Acacia Festival Events - Charity Bazaar

Charity Bazaar raises 25311 yen

We've held the Charity Bazaar for a number of years now, but this year the weather was horrible. Tina tucked up her kimono sleeves to help move boxes and many volunteers worked really hard in the rain, but because of the rain it took longer than usual to set up the tent and display our goods. At 10 o'clock, we still weren't done and were stuck unloading goods and bargaining with eager customers at the same time.

Thanks to everyone who donated things for our bazaar. There were some great treasures among them!

After lunch there were few customers, but in the end we still managed to collect 25311 yen. I think that was pretty good for the conditions that day.
