As I desperately try to finish preparations for returning to New Zealand,
I feel that time just flew by the past 3 years. I feel really fortunate
to have come to Kosaka. My term ends July 29, and a new CIR, Tina, will
be taking my place.
Kosaka may be a small town, but everyone here works very hard to maintain
a strong sense of community. Apart from KIS events, there were countless
other things to participate in, such as Tanabata Festival and Yamabiraki.
Kosaka is also surrounded with wonderful scenery, such as that of Lake Towada, that reveal different beautiful faces during each of the 4 seasons. Mountain climbing, picking mountain vegetables, snowboarding, fishing ? there were many ways to enjoy and commune with nature here.
These three years, aside from having such great experiences, Ifve also made lots of good friends and created lots of wonderful memories with them.
Everyone, thank you so much for these three years. I donft want to say gsayonara,h so I will leave the English expression gSee you againh as my departing words.
