Flag Painting

I was really excited when I got the opportunity to paint the national flag of　my country. It was a great honour for me and in the case where your are so far away from home, you get some kind of special feeling deep inside of you. But, another thing that took my attention at this time was the little Japanese girl that came to help me with the painting. She did a good job. I was very satisfied with the painting that we did together. In memory of that I took a photo of her.

The Parliament of the Republic of Georgia has officially adopted a new national flag of Georgia on 14 January 2004. The flag is white with five red crosses and was used as the flag of National Movement, whose leader was Mikhail Saakashvili, the new President of Georgia.

To celebrate the resignation of President Eduard Shevardnadze, supporters of the Georgian political opposition have been parading through the streets of Tbilisi.
