Spanish Class |
I enrolled in the Spanish Class hoping to become familiar with the basic greetings. Up until then, the only Spanish that I knew was, amigo, hola, hasta la vista (from the movie gTerminatorh), rico (from the Kinman commercial) etc, so in the first class I felt at a bit of a lost. However, half of the class was conversation and the other half was spent singing songs so it was a lot of fun. In this class I did not only learn greetings in Spanish, but also songs like Besame mucho. Once the song was playing, I soon found myself humming along to it.
For me, who only became a KIS member last year, the Spanish Class was the reason that I could participate more actively compared to last year as I was able to meet many new KIS members and as a Host Friend it increased opportunities to spend time with the JICA Participants.
I would like to thank the Kosaka International Society, the two teachers Ms Matsumoto and Mrs Abe, and all of my classmates for allowing me this wonderful opportunity. I hope that there will be another Spanish Class next year. l@fD!g@
