A comment from Mmlle. Cecille Barbier, who
came from France as an exchange student
| Hi ! I am Cecile and I am from Lille, in the North of France. I had the opportunity to discover Kosaka this summer because I was a trainee at MINETEC, the International Institute for Mining Technology. In France, I study Information and Communications at university because I hope to become a journalist. I am very interested in Japan, for many reasons. The main reason is the way of life, which is completely different from France. I would like to write about it one day! During my stay, I lived with four different host families, who were all very patient, friendly and always ready to answer to my numerous questions. Thank you all! I've also met many of Kosaka's inhabitants and I can say without hesitation, that they are kind and warm. Maybe it is the beautiful landscape all around, which causes their good humour! The mountains, the rice fields and above all, Towada Lake are really beautiful. Anyway, Kosaka is a tiny town but a few days were enough to see how dynamic and "international" this community is. They welcomed me with open arms and did the same with the JICA researchers who came from 19 different countries. Please, all of you, Japanese or from overseas, don't hesitate to come here, to Kosaka. In addition to a warm welcome, you will discover the natural beauty of this little corner, in the North of Japan. I will return for sure. |
