Wine Festival

This year's Wine festival was held on September 20th, in Chuo Koen. Even though it rained for a while, everybody had a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed dancing, eating yakiniku, and drinking Kosaka wine. There was a karaoke stage, an armwrestling competition, and a drum performance.

At the KIS booth, there were many displays: pictures from last year's high school trip to California; pictures from the Acacia Festival; and various pictures of KIS-sponsored events. I also had a display of Canadian stuff that I had brought with me from home. I showed two videos, one of the Rocky Mountains, and the other about the Aurora Borealis. There were also two computers set up to demonstrate the new KIS homepage.

Many of the JICA were closeby throughout the day, they enjoyed exploring the homepage. We spent most of the day talking and enjoying ourselves.
