Flag Painting

When: Saturday September 20th, 10:00 - 15:00 Where: the wall behind the Chuo Park Grandstand This year we painted the flags of Mauritania, Tunisia, Nepal, and Malawi. Hamoudy was working hard on the Mauritanian flag before most of us even arrived. The Tunisian researcher couldn't come because of another engagement, but the Turkish participant, Semih, took his place and painted the Tunisian flag. The Chinese participant, Xu painted part of the Nepalese flag until Uttam arrived. The top of the Malawi flag is quite intricate, and it seems quite difficult to render well, but John did an amazing job. It only ended up taking about two hours to finish, and we all posed for a picture at the end. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.
